0500, Inc. a Florida Corporation, provides trained employees to supervise the loading or off-loading of petroleum products from marine vessels to onshore facilities, commonly called Dock Watch or Hose watch. In the Code of Federal Regulations we are referred to as P.I.C. (Person In Charge).

 We are responsible for:

  1. We are trained in the proper paper work or D.O.I.
  2. Over seeing communication between the vessel and the landside terminal.
  3. Maintaining records of the beginning and ending times of loading or off-loading.
  4. Check all hoses and connections regularly for leaks.
  5. Throughout the pumping operation check for proper pressure in the lines.
  6. We maintain a continuous watch during the period of time that lines are connected to the vessel.

Each employee is trained and certified under HAZWOPER, 29CFR 1910.120(e) and re-certified every year.

Each Employee has to take a mandatory Hazwoper course
And refresher every year
And is fitted for a respiratory device, Flotation Device,
Each Employee is trained in the use and understanding of a Fire extinguishers, and related equipment if needed
We are trained in the proper paper work or D.O.I.
And Terminal documents for each Vessel.
Each Employee has a Photo ID badge for quick identification,
And we are a member in Good standing with the Oil Industries Compliance Group, ISnetworld.
